Tenos retained as fire engineering consultants by NHS Blood & Transplant

Tenos is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a contract to provide fire engineering advisory services and AutoCAD hosting to the public sector organisation, NHS Blood & Transplant.

This is a three-year contract with effect from 1 April 2015 until 31 March 2018, with the option to extend for a further four times one year extensions at the end of the initial period.

NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) is a specialist health authority within the National Health Service. It is responsible for optimising the supply of blood, organs and tissues, and raising the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of blood and transplant services.

NHSBT is a long-standing client of Tenos. We were first appointed in 2002 by this public sector organisation and for more than twelve years, we have acted as their national fire engineering consultants to help them cost-effectively manage fire safety at their 96 sites across the UK.

Tenos Director and lead fire engineering consultant for NHS Blood & Transplant, Dominic Vallely said:

Under this contract, NHSBT will continue to utilise our online fire safety management system, Tenos Benchmark. Originally designed for this public sector, Tenos Benchmark enables NHSBT to cost-effectively manage fire safety across multiple sites by providing them with access to accurate and timely information via this secure online system.
