Teamwork is central to everything we do at Tenos, whether working together to successfully deliver projects or pro-actively collaborating with our clients. That’s why each year Tenos traditionally take a day out of the office for their annual team building day.
Each year the team is presented with a new team building challenge. This year we had to demonstrate our teamwork skills in the kitchen.
The directors and staff from our offices in Manchester and London headed north to the Peter Sidwell Cookery School at the Rheged Centre in Penrith, Cumbria in search of Tenos Master Chefs.
Working in pairs and at least dressed to look the part, we were asked to prepare a selection of culinary delights from homemade pasta, chilli chicken ragu, steak on ciabatta and the famous Victorian sponge cake.
Teams Adrian Hay and David Bostelmann and Andrew Foolkes and Mostyn Bullock were crowned Tenos Master Chefs 2015 and awarded prizes for their sterling efforts (not a wooden spoon!).
After a hard day in the kitchen, everyone was able to relax and enjoy a delicious meal in a local restaurant that evening (cooked by a professional chef!).
Another great team building day!
